When to arrive. Live-in students arrive the afternoon before the class begins as the Rasidaton (Thai Yoga) is at 7am on the first morning. Your dinner and bed for that night will count as part of your first day of class, which means your course-fee will cover you through to the end of the last day of class at 4pm (plus one final steam bath about 5.30pm if you wish. And of course you are always welcome to stay longer.)
Baht can be obtained by exchanging your own country’s bank notes at a Chiang Mai bank or exchange place. Charges vary very little from one provider to another, so it is not worth shopping around.
($1.00 = Bt 32.79; €1.00 = Bt 37.44 — August 1st, 2025)
any visitors use their ATM cards in Chiang Mai. However, please note there is a charge of about 200 baht ($6.00) per transaction.
N.B. YOU MUST NOTIFY YOUR BANK AHEAD OF TIME IF YOU PLAN TO USE YOUR ATM CARD IN THAILAND.
We do not have credit card facilities on our own account. However, you can use your regular credit card to pay us through PayPal, WISE, or via the “Credit Card with Cash Advances” option.
A very easy and safe option is to have a PayPal or WISE account of your own. You can use these accounts to pay both the deposit and, later, the remaining balance using your credit or debit card.
In our experience, international wire transfers are the most expensive and complicated method. They can create accounting difficulties for both you and us.
If you already have a Thai bank account, this is a very easy way to pay. Simply ask us for our bank details. It takes only a few minutes.
As we say again and again, you must notify your home bank of your travel plans before you come to Thailand. Otherwise, your ATM and/or credit card may be blocked.
1) If you want to join a class, use the PayPal buttons to the right of each course below to place your deposit.
2) If you already have a deposit with us, you can use it for any course or amount. Simply tell us which course you want, and you will be fully booked in.
3) Deposits are non-refundable, but if you need to cancel, we will be pleased to hold them for any future class.
4) There is a transfer fee for all wire services, including PayPal, and the fee is the student’s responsibility. However, if you are unsure how much will be deducted, don’t worry — we will credit you with whatever we receive.
5) “LIMITED PLACES” beside a course means it already has 8 or more deposits. We close most of our massage classes at 12.
6) “FULL” means we have received 12 deposits and the class is closed. If there are more than 12, we make that very clear on the Calendar.
7) Cancellations do happen. If you are still interested, you can join our WAITING LIST by emailing us at baanhom@homprang.com. The list is strictly first-come, first-served. If you are number one and a place becomes available, we will contact you immediately.
